Using Numbers in Arabic Transcription

In case you ever were confused as to why you see 3's or 7's used in transcribed Arabic to Roman letters, here is a little guide to those numbers inserted in Arabic words:

2 (ء) hamza (a'a)
3 (ع) ein (a)
3' (غ) gheen (gh)
5 (خ) kha (kh)
6 (ط) ta'a (t)
7 (ح) ha'a (h)
7' (خ) kha (kh)

القى الاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين باللوم على إيران في تأجيج الفتنة الطائفية في الدول العربية، ودعا السنة والشيعة للكف عن محاولات تحويل أتباع أحد المذهبين إلى المذهب الآخر

The World Federation of Muslim Scholars blamed Iran for fueling sectarian strife in Arab countries and called on Sunnis and Shiites to refrain from attempts to convert followers from one denomination to the other sects.
